I won’t leave any stone unturned in developing the district -Sekyere East DCE

The District chief executive for Sekyere East in Ashant Region, Hon Mary Boatemaa Marfo, has assured that once the NPP government has taken over government, Effiduase and its environs will see massive development.

 

According to her, though there were chunk of debts she came and met but with the policies of the NPP, all will resurrect.

The chief executive officer for Sekyere East, Hon. Mary Boatemaa Marfo made this assurance when speaking to the New Crusading Guide over her vision on development as the people of Effiduase are crying over been sidelined in the previous administration.

 

“As far as l’m concerned, I have received reports on issues concerning refuse dumping sites, roads, poor environment and others issues”, the DCE said.

Speaking on what the assembly has initiated to meet these challenges, she hinted that plans are in place to ensure some of these pressing needs are resolved because it is their mandate as an assembly to fulfill the request of their people.

 

Hon. Boatemaa Marfo, on some of the opportunities the assembly can explore in to resolve some the challenges said, since they can’t rely on government alone there are several ways the assembly is looking at to embark on development.

“Yes, the central government is there but the point is we need to do things through Public-Private Partnership”, she said.

 

“During the campaign by the NPP, we promised to bring free SHS and as l am speaking now, it has taken off. The planting for food and jobs which has been launch already also has taken off by our assembly as seedlings and many other things needed have been supplied to our farmer’s.”

 

When asked about her lessons learnt so far as a DCE, she told the New Crusading Guide that as a leader, she needs to bring all together, practically, it is a way of bringing meaningful strategies to accelerate greater development in a working environment.

 

Hon. Mary Boatemaa Marfo chronicling her achievements told the paper that the assembly has built a market centre for Asokore and also rehabilitating the Effiduase market too. Apart from that the assembly also has evacuated some refuse dump site which was a challenge to the communities the exercise took place.

 

 

The DCE, who is also the constituency women organizer for Effiduase constituency made known that under her administration, no political lens will be entertained because after election, there should be unity.
